Wherever you are, and whatever you're doing, maybe you noticed something felt off about today. Or maybe it's just one of those ordinary days to you. But regardless, you may or may not have seen that solitary shambling person shuffle by, might or might not have heard a scream...

No matter, Paradise is about to become even less that than what it has been thusfar..

Around the school/ Afternoon

Kurow has been just chilling out, really. He has been observing for a couple of days, taking in the geography of the place. He decided to ditch his wings for the day, and explore on foot for a bit. He was hoping to see some cute girl pass by, but no such luck.

It was almost eerily quiet today. Kurow caught a glimpse of some people walking slowly by.

They didn't catch his interest, yet.

Chibi was napping around under the school's playground, where he'd been hanging out since the fire. There was a nagging feeling that something was off but he didn't really see it.

Kurow let his gaze wander until his eyes met a familiar white pup. "Dude!"

He floated over to him, kneeling down. "Hey, what'cha sleeping for? It's, like, the middle of the day!" I hope you weren't sleeping too deeply Chibi because Kurow is now poking you with his flute.

"Well, I don't blame ya. It's, like, a total graveyard today."

It happens. *hughug*

Chibi yawned and stretched, shaking himself as he stood up. He wasn't sleeping too deeply.

And thank you for that interesting and accurate observation Kurow. A bark or two will be letting him know that Chibi thinks something will happen.

"G' morning, sleepyhead." Kurow sits by him and pets Chibi's head. He quirks his head at Chibi's barking.

"You think so, boy? I kinda almost wish something would happen! All these people just shuffling around, not even saying 'Yo' to anybody is really bumming me out."

"We should, like, totally ask them what's up. Whaddya you think, dude?"

*huuuug*

It couldn't hurt to ask...once Kurow's done petting him anyway. But somewhere just behind them, there's a thump though, like someone tripped over the other end of the seesaw.

Chibi immediately turns to look.
