The city is very quiet again, somehow. Certain active people are now gone, while others simply are more scarce now.

It's a shame.

What kind of favor might you be looking for? If you want something say so, if it can be granted it probably will be.

Some things come at a price, some don't.

That also depends. The same favor may have a price at first and not later, or the opposite may be true.

The price is never anything that can't be paid though. That would be cruel, which is one thing I'm not.

Not at all. The price has to be agreed upon first. And it may be a task rather than a thing.
